Hoe maak ik een e-handtekening?
An e-signature is a digital signature you can use to sign documents or agreements online. E-signatures are legally binding in most countries, meaning they have the same legal weight as a traditional handwritten signature. Creating an e-signature is quick and easy, and it can save you a lot of time and effort when signing documents online. Here’s how to do it
- First, take a white sheet of paper and a preferably black pen. And write your signature on this sheet of paper.
- Next, take your smartphone or other digital camera and take a picture of the signature from right above. Important in this step is to consider lighting and shadows. It is important to use white light. Another color, such as yellow, will also give the paper this color as well. It is best to use daylight. This is because this also solves the shadow part. After all, you don’t want to see shadows around the signature. Take the picture near a window and hold the camera from straight up.
- Transfer the photo to your computer or laptop. And open the image in an editor, such as Paint. Use the “select” tool and draw a square exactly around the the signature. Move the signature all the way to the upper left corner of the image. Then deselect the signature. Next, reduce the overall image by dragging the small square at the very bottom right corner of the image until you are left with just the signature. Next, save the image.
To use your e-signature, simply paste the image into the document where you need to sign it.
E-signatures are legal, convenient and easy to create. In just a few minutes you can create an e-signature that allows you to sign documents online – no more printing out documents, signing them by hand and scanning them back in! Creating an e-signature will save you time and effort, so why not give it a try?
